Private capital for business

Capital, set in stone.

Maxstone Capital lends its own private capital to businesses that are ready to grow, acquire or bridge to what comes next. Competitive rates, terms built around your cash flow, and decisions made by the people who own the capital.

01 · Direct

One lender, one table

You speak with the people who make the decision. No brokers in the middle, no hand-offs between departments.

02 · Considered

Structured to fit

Interest-only periods, amortizing schedules or a balloon at maturity, chosen around how your business actually earns.

03 · Competitive

Fair, clear pricing

Rates priced to the strength of the deal, with every fee written into the term sheet before you commit.

04 · Discreet

Private by default

Your financials and plans stay between you and Maxstone, and are never shared without your consent.

Financing

Four ways we put capital to work

Every facility is sized and priced to the business in front of us. These are the structures we use most.

iii.

Bridge Financing

Short-term capital that carries you to a known event: a sale closing, a refinance, a receivable or a bank facility coming through.

Typical use
Timing gaps, closings, refinancing
Structure
Short term, interest-only, repaid at the event
Security
Tied to the exit and the underlying asset
iv.

Questions

Before you reach out

How is Maxstone different from a bank?

We lend our own private capital, so we can look at the whole business rather than a fixed scorecard, structure terms around your cash flow, and give you a clear answer without layers of committees. Bank financing is often cheaper when you qualify for it; we're built for the deals that need more flexibility or more speed.

What rates do you charge?

Rates are set deal by deal based on the strength of the business, the security, the term and the structure. Every rate and fee is written into the term sheet before you commit, and we aim to be competitive with other private lenders for comparable risk.

What will you need from me?

Usually two years of financial statements, current interim financials, a summary of existing debt, a use of funds and, for larger requests, projections. If security includes property or equipment, we'll also ask for recent appraisals or lists.

Do you take equity?

No. Maxstone provides debt financing. You keep ownership of your business.

Do you lend to start-ups?

We focus on businesses with operating history or real assets behind them. If you're earlier stage, tell us about it anyway; we'll say plainly whether it's a fit.
